Dr. Ryan Gray, a renowned expert in medical school admissions, is hosting an OldPreMeds kickoff party at MappdCon 2023 for nontraditional premed students. This event aims to offer encouragement and motivation to those pursuing medicine through nontraditional routes. The event will include various speakers and guests, including current medical students, who will share their personal journeys and offer valuable advice to the attendees. Guests speakers that will be present at the event are not yet named but will be announced soon. The conference will provide an opportunity for nontraditional premeds to network, share experiences and get inspired to pursue their dreams of becoming a physician.
Students have the opportunity to meet their premed advisor to say hello, ask questions, and receive guided support in a small group setting.

The MappdCon 2023 Health-Professions Expo will feature representatives from various medical schools, PA schools, and other professional schools, as well as companies offering guidance and resources to pre-health students. Some reasons why students would want to engage with these schools and companies include:
